Most famous cities have iconic locations which are instantly recognizable. Familiar to many of my readers would be the Seattle skyline from Kerry Park. The trick with iconic views and locations is to try and photograph them in a way that’s unique and different. Not always an easy thing to do and I certainly don’t claim to succeed every time. Trey Ratcliff over at Stuck in Customs usually does a pretty good job of getting an interesting angle on familiar places.
I’ve been trying to get ready for my trip to the Philippines on Sunday, and in the meantime get out to a few places around Sydney that I haven’t managed to get to yet or haven’t photographed in the way I’d like. This is actually from several months ago but it’s certainly from one of the more iconic locations to view the city of Sydney skyline and the Harbour Bridge.
