Bridge in Monochrome

Today’s Photo

There are countless photos of the Sydney Harbour Bridge – I’ve posted a number of them myself – so it’s hard to really do anything different or unusual. Even this shot probably has many similar cousins out there somewhere. But I like it and it’s probably one of my favorites. I suppose part of the reason I like to photograph things like has something to do with my engineering background. Even though I’ve stepped away from engineering for the time being, I still have a fascination for large engineering achievements. There may be many similar images out there but this one means something to me, if for no other reason than: I was there.
