Taipei: The only place I’ve been where people actually stand to the side on the escalator to let those who want to walk up pass by. Doesn’t matter how busy it is. A full train could have just unloaded and everyone will still line up on the right side.
There were numerous fences like this out on the tidal flats in parts of Negros, Philippines. They are apparently used by fishermen in some way, although I have no idea how. If you have any thoughts, I’d love to hear them.
