The other day I mentioned another post by David du Chemin, one of my favorite photographers. Shortly after, I found out through another photography blogger that David had had serious accident while leading a photography workshop in Italy. He fell about 30 feet, breaking a number of bones and is apparently lucky to be alive. Considering that his last blog post was titled Choose Your Risk, in which he talked about living a life to the fullest and with intention, this almost seems prescient. If you didn’t read his post the last time I suggested it, I’d recommend that you do so.
I’ve enjoyed David’s beautiful photos and inspirational writing for a while now, and I wish him a speedy recovery.
It seems that my friends and family in the Northwest of the US, have been enjoying a rather cool and damp spring. Here’s hoping that things there will start warming up and greening up soon.
