The New York Time Magazine has an interview with photographer Sebastião Salgado regarding his recent project photographing landscapes of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Shot entirely in black and white, and a step away from his usual subjects, he’s captured some amazing landscape images. Be sure and go through the slideshow.
In a previous post I told a little bit about Liberty Plaza at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial monument in Taipei. The monument itself is a rather imposing structure that dominates one end of the plaza. Inside the monument is a large statue of Chiang Kai-shek, president of the Republic of China (Taiwan) following World War II.
