Reflection in the Pond

Located in a park near the Sun Yat-sen Memorial in Taipei, this pond created a wonderful reflection of the Taipei 101 tower at sunset. It was difficult to get a good composition which included the whole tower in the reflection, in part because the tower is so tall. In general, Taipei is not a ‘tall’ city – one of the first things I noticed about the place. As such, the Taipei 101 tower – until recently the tallest building in the world – really stands out from everything around it.
