The View From Rizal Park

Are You On Google+?

Google+ seems to be turning out to be one of the latest mediums for photographers to share their work and collaborate with other photographers. Of course you don’t have to be a photographer to be on Google+. I find it to be an interesting alternative to Facebook, although it has yet to achieve the critical mass necessary to make it interesting for anything other than following other photographers. So come join me and help liven the place up! Google+ is still by invite only so if you need an invite, send me a message and I’ll hook you up.

Today’s Photo

As with most cities, there are a number of locations around Seattle which you are ‘required’ to get a photo of in order to obtain your Seattle Photographer’s Card. The Seattle skyline from Rizal Park on Beacon Hill is one of those locations. Although you mostly get something similar to what everyone else gets, it’s still fun to see what you can come up with. The recent construction of a bicycle path along the perimeter of Rizal Park has made it easier to get this ‘classic’ shot without a lot of trees and bushes in the way.
