Hot off the presses, the March desktop wallpaper is here! It’s hard to get much fresher than this one taken just last night at Langkawi Island, a group of 99 islands in the northwest corner of Malaysia. This causeway and bridge are abandoned, apparently because it is all disintegrating, but you can still make your way across it. I picked my way through rotting, missing, and burnt wooden decking timbers to get just to the top of the rise before I became too nervous to continue. It was actually getting hard to see and I wanted to make sure I had enough light to get back safely. The locals had no qualms about making their way across with motorbikes, which I thought was a bit crazy.
There are three versions of the wallpaper image available, including one for iPad (without the calendar). You can click on the photo below for the large 2560×1600 resolution version, or click on the links below for the resolution of your choice.
Enjoy! and share with your friends.
